The Non-Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved the outline application for up to 165 houses at Land at Banbury Lane, Middleton Cheney on 08 October 2026. The decision was made in accordance with the Case Officer’s recommendation, subject to various requirements to be set out in the minutes. This included securing 50% affordable housing, 5% bungalows, and financial contributions towards education, libraries, primary healthcare, sports pitches, open space, biodiversity monitoring, public right of way upgrades, and travel plan monitoring.
