Audit and Governance Committee

The Committee is responsible for miscellaneous functions which are the responsibility of the Council itself, including electoral matters, meeting administration and civic activities.  The Committee also undertakes approval of the statement of accounts and fulfils the role of an Independent Audit Committee in line with CIPFA and Audit Commission guidance.
