The Executive of West Oxfordshire Council approved recommendations on 09 September 2026. They agreed to enter consultation to increase the maximum stay time to 12 hours on levels 6, 7, and 8 of Marriotts Walk Car Park and to extend the car park's boundary line to include a small area of pavement. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director for Corporate Services, in consultation with the Executive Member for Environment, to consider consultation feedback and decide on making the variation to the Off Street Parking Order.
