Staff Consultative Panel

The Staff Consultative Panel is responsible to the Cabinet and membership is drawn from councillors and staff representatives of the Council.  The Panel’s general function is to consider the Council’s staffing arrangements and provide a regular forum to secure the largest measure of agreement between the Council as an employer and Trade Union employees regarding matters directly affecting employment by the Council.   As they are not covered by the normal Access to Information rules, meetings of this Panel are not open to the public.
