Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to consider and
approve the basis on which grants from the remainder of the
Decarbonisation Initiatives Fund to community organisations will be
awarded by the Portfolio Holder taking into account the expressions
of interest received via local ward councillors.

Decision

Resolved:
 
That:
1.       the update contained
in Report number: CAB/WS/24/057 on the expressions of interest
received from ward members for grants from the Decarbonisation
Initiatives Fund towards the cost of projects to decarbonise
community assets in their ward be noted; and
 
2.       the officers, in
consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Governance, Regulatory
and Environment, be authorised to award the entirety of the
remaining balance of the Fund to eligible projects on the basis set
out in part 2 of Report number: CAB/WS/24/057.
