Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to consider and
approve a refreshed approach to the Council’s families and
communities approach.

Resolved:
 
That:
1.       The ‘Families
and Communities Approach: Building Thriving Communities’, as
contained in Appendix A to Report number: CAB/WS/24/059, be
adopted.
 
2.       The Families and
Communities letter to go to partners and community groups,
contained in Appendix B to Report number: CAB/WS/24/059, be
approved.
 
3.       The
‘Equalities’ section of the West Suffolk Council
committee report templates be enhanced to cover impacts on Families
and Communities – ‘Equalities, including impacts on
families and communities’, as set out in section 2.6 of
Report number: CAB/WS/24/059.
