Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to consider and approve the West Suffolk Annual Report 2025 to 2026, a draft of which will previously have been presented to the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.

The Cabinet will also receive a progress report on the West Suffolk Housing, Homeless Reduction and Rough Sleeping Strategy, noting its achievements in 2025 to 2026.

Resolved:

That:

1. Subject to the inclusion of the amendments suggested by the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, the draft West Suffolk Annual Report 2025 to 2026, attached as Appendix A to Report number CAB/WS/26/033, be approved.
2. The changes required to the Housing, Homelessness Reduction and Rough Sleeping Strategy and Action Plan in response to the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 and the Government’s Plan to End Homelessness, be noted.
