Purpose

Decision taken: Decision for the
Executive Director of Finance & Resources to approve the final
terms of the acquisition of the Southwark Portfolio for temporary
accommodation as set out in the decision report.
 
Reason for Decision: The decision to
purchase the Southwark Portfolio for temporary accommodation was
made by Cabinet on 16 December 2024. The background and policy
context to the Council’s temporary accommodation acquisitions
programme is set out in the corresponding Cabinet paper. Cabinet
delegated authority to the Executive Director of Finance &
Resources to agree the final terms of the acquisition in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finance & Council
Reform.
