Purpose

To sign off the Council’s Pay Policy for
2025-26.

Decision

Cabinet approved the
following recommendations to Full Council for consideration at its
meeting on 5 March 2025:

Approve the draft Pay Policy Statement for 2025-26.
 
Reasons for Decision: Councils are
required to produce Pay Policy Statements articulating the
authority’s policies towards a range of issues relating to
the pay of its workforce. A Pay Policy Statement must be prepared
for each financial year, approved by Full Council, and published on
the Council’s website.
