Purpose

This report seeks to sign off the publication
of the statutory Air Quality Action Plan.

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Climate Action, Ecology, Culture and Air Quality has approved
the Air Quality Action Plan 2025-2030 for adoption and
implementation.
 
Reason for Decision: The Council has
legal obligations under the Environment Act 1995 and the London
Local Air Quality Management Framework to design a framework that
addresses air pollution in Westminster. This Plan supports the
Council’s goals of achieving World Health Organisation air
quality guidelines by 2040 and reducing health inequalities.
