Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Finance and Council Reform has approved a payment in respect of
the full and final settlement of a commercial dispute as an
alternative to litigation, the details of which are set out in the
exempt appendix.
 
Reason for Decision: The Cabinet
Member’s approval will achieve a settlement agreement to deal
with all matters between the two parties and avoid the need for
costly litigation and court hearings.
