Decision

Council approved the following
recommendations:
 
RESOLVED:
 
1)             
That the changes to the Procurement Code summarised
in Section 4 and as displayed within the Procurement Code at
Appendix A of the report be approved.
 
2)             
That the Council’s Constitution, inclusive of
the changes above set out in Appendix B be
approved.
 
Reasons for decision:
 

1)             
While changes to the Constitution are approved
in-year it is good practice to ask Full Council to approve and
adopt the Constitution in its entirety on annual basis.
 

2)             
The changes to the Procurement Code are required to
enable the Council to meet its obligation to ‘have regard
to’ the National Procurement Policy Statement in its
procurement activities.
