implementation of Play Streets on Ashmore Road, Kilravock St, and
Northumberland Place.

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Streets has approved the implementation of permanent Play
Streets on Northumberland Place, Kilravock Street and Ashmore Road
and delegated authority to progress further schemes.
 
Reasons for Decision: Evidence from the
trial phases of these schemes suggests that the three agreed
locations are suitable for permanent Play Street designations,
which facilitate and encourage play and physical activity in local
communities.
