A.

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Finance and Council Reform has approved the appropriation Church Street Site A
for planning purposes pursuant to section 122 of the Local
Government Act 1972 and the subsequent use of the powers under
section 203 of the Housing and Planning Act 2016 to override any
third party easements and other rights of the affected neighbouring
properties that will be infringed. Authority has also
been delegated to the Executive Director of Regeneration, Economy
and Planning to deal with necessary arrangements as set out in the
report.
 
Reasons for Decision: The appropriation
of Church Street Site A for planning purposes from housing purposes
and the use of subsequent powers will ensure that the redevelopment
of Church Street Site A can proceed, meet the scheduled completion
date for the delivery of Church Street Site A and facilitate the

that are fit for purpose.
