Decision Taken:
 
The Executive Director for Regeneration,
Economy and Planning approved the Capital Grant award to Grand
Junction (Paddington Development Trust) the sum of £597,183
as recommended by the Community Capital Grant Panel.
 
 
Reasons for the Decision:
 
Following the October 24 Community Capital
Grant Decision Paper, the Executive Director for Regeneration,
Economy and Planning approved the launch of the North Paddington
Community Capital Grant Fund and the proposed decision-making
process and eligibility criteria, as well as operating within with
the framework of the Third-Party Asset Investment Policy.
 
The agreed decision-making process requires
that the capital grant panel will make recommendations on funding
specific applications and that in line with the July 24 Cabinet
Paper the Executive Director for Regeneration, Economy and Planning
has delegated authority to approve these recommendations. The North
Paddington Community Capital Grants Panel recommends that the
Executive Director for Regeneration, Economy and Planning approves
the award of capital grant funding for the total amount of
£597,183 to Paddington Development Trust, a company limited
by guarantee with company number 3652559 (known as Grand Junction)
for improvement works to their building and investment into their
arts facilities.
