The Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic
Development has approved that the 27 main modifications and 10
optional modifications recommended by the Examiner as set out in
the Council’s Decision Statement and Examiner’s Report
be accepted, and that the Maida Hill Neighbourhood Plan proceed to
local referendum.
The Cabinet Member for Planning and
Economic Development has also approved that, in accordance with the
Examiner’s recommendation, the referendum area be restricted
to the Neighbourhood Area designated by the Council on 10January
2014 as the Maida Hill Neighbourhood Area, and that in the event of
a positive referendum result, the Executive Director of Corporate
Services be authorised to publish an Adoption Statement and
formally ‘make’ (adopt) the plan.
