Purpose

The Cabinet Member will consider a new PSPO to
expand the existing order for the control of anti-social vehicle
use until, to include Soho and Mayfair, for 3-years to 2028.

for Children and Public Protection has approved a variation to the
nuisance vehicle order to expand it to include Soho and Mayfair and
to renew the order to tackle anti-social vehicle use until 23:59hrs
on the 31 August 2028 on the same terms.   
 
Reasons for Decision: There is
significant evidence to show that there is a problem with
anti-social vehicle use in the West End.  The problem is
undermining public safety and businesses’ security systems as
well as damaging public roads.
