Decision Taken: That the Cabinet Member for Children and Public Protection:
Approve the revenue expenditure of up to £2.92 million to fund nine Police Officers as part of the Police and Council Tasking Team (PACTT).
Approve the Council to enter into a grant agreement (for a three-year period) with the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime for up to £2.92 million in respect of the PACTT.
Delegate authority to the Executive Director of Environment & Communities to finalise the terms of the grant agreement.
Delegate authority to the Director of Public Protection & Licensing for the implementation and ongoing operationalisation of the PACTT in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Children & Public Protection.
