Purpose

The Cabinet Member will consider capital
expenditure for Stage 3-6 of the scheme and to undertake detailed
design and implementation of highway works. 

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Streets has approved the capital expenditure and agreements
with Shaftesbury Capital required to facilitate detailed design and
implementation of a highways improvement
scheme on Henrietta Street.
 
Reasons for Decision: This decision
will allow the completion of a series of highways
and public realm improvements to improve accessibility within the
Henrietta Street pedestrianised area, encourage active travel and
support local businesses in accordance with the Fairer Westminster
policy.
