for Climate Action, Ecology, Culture and Air Quality has approved
the Climate Emergency Action Plan and the Climate Emergency Action
Plan 2025 Progress Report. 
 
Reasons for Decision: The Climate
Emergency Action Plan (CEAP) has been updated to reflect the
evolution of the Council’s approach to tackling climate
change in Westminster, and the expanded impact of the climate
programme and community engagement undertaken through the Climate
Assembly in 2023. It sets out an increased focus on climate
resilience and adaptation, the approach to unlocking green finance
to support wider delivery and delivery of co-benefits that help
address social injustice.
