The Cabinet Member will consider the variation
to the contracts with Willmott Dixon Construction
Ltd.  

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Regeneration and Renters has
approved variations to the contracts with Willmott Dixon and
additional expenditure in respect of further remediation works that
are required at the Adpar Street,
Torridon House and Queen’s Park Court (Package B)
developments.
 
Reasons for Decision: This is required
as a result of several issues at each
site that have been discovered following detailed investigation
works after Willmott Dixon took over as the main contractor
following the insolvency of Geoffrey Osborne, which caused
significant delays and problems for the schemes requiring
additional funding.
