Purpose

The Cabinet Member will consider the results
of the Cycleway 43 (Section B) scheme Traffic Order Consultation,
and consider whether to approve to proceed to make the associated
Traffic Orders permanent and commence delivery. 

Decision

Summary of Decision:The Cabinet Member
for Streets has approved the implementation of Cycleway 43 (Section
B) including the associated budget, Traffic Management Orders and
delivery.
 
Reasons for Decision:This decision will
enhance the safety and connectivity of active travel routes in
Westminster by delivering a safe cycleway between Hyde Park and
Marylebone, supporting and encouraging active travel and
contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive transport network
in line with the Council’s policies.
