Decision Taken: The Cabinet Member for
Finance and Council Reform:

Approved the appropriation for planning purposes of the
Council’s land at Bucknill
House.

·      
Delegated authority to the Executive Director for Regeneration,
Economy and Planning to complete necessary arrangements.
 
Reasons for Decision: Appropriating
Bucknill House for planning purposes
from housing purposes and the use of subsequent powers is
recommended to facilitate the delivery of much needed new homes in
the community, and to replace the existing facilities with new, fit
for purpose buildings. The appropriation will help to ensure that
development can meet the scheduled delivery date for the Phase 2
Site.
