The Cabinet Member will consider the award of
an accommodation contract for 16–25-year-olds.
 

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Housing Services has approved contract awards for higher
support accommodation with 24-hour staffing, step-down
accommodation, and accommodation and support services at both Bruce
House and Sunset Lodge, as part of the Young Person’s
Supported Accommodation Pathway.
 
Reasons for Decision: These contract
awards will allow for the continuation of Young Person’s
Accommodation Services which offer appropriate housing solutions
and support for individuals under the age of 18 and vulnerable
young adults aged 18 to 25 who are at risk of homelessness or
residing in unsuitable accommodation.
