Purpose

The Cabinet Member will consider the award of
contracts to supply furniture and white goods for Temporary
Accommodation (TA) and housing stock.

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Housing Services has approved the award of a contract to Focus
Furnishing and Alba Beds Limited to supply, deliver and install
residential furniture, white goods, carpets and flooring.
 
Reasons for Decision: The Council is
required to provide furniture, white goods and other furnishings in
its growing temporary accommodation stock, as well as in some
Sheltered Housing Schemes and Housing Revenue Account Void
properties.
