procurement strategy for WCC Housing Needs Single Person Homeless
Service and Outreach.

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Housing Services has approved the strategy to procure
Integrated Singles and Outreach Services in three lots under the
open procurement procedure of a Light Touch Contract (LTC).
 
Reasons for Decision: The current
contracts for these services are ending during 2025/26 and the
recommissioning of
prevention and wider support for single individuals through an
integrated model serves both rough sleepers and those eligible for
statutory homelessness assistance, in line with the
Council’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy
(2025-2030).
