Decision Taken: The Cabinet Member for
Finance and Council Reform approved the appropriation of Block B
for planning purposes and delegated authority to the Executive
Director for Regeneration, Economy and Planning to enact necessary
arrangements.
 
 
Reasons for Decision: The appropriation
of Block B for planning purposes from housing purposes and the use
of subsequent powers is recommended to ensure that the
redevelopment of Block B can proceed, meet the scheduled completion
date for the delivery of the housing and facilitate the delivery of
much needed homes in the community, with new buildings that are fit
for purpose.
