Reform has approved the granting of a license agreement to
Wildstone Estates Ltd, licensing the two digital screens at the
Picadilly Underpass for a period of 10 years, with the option to
extend on the same terms for a further ten-year period.
 
Reasons for
Decision
The digital media screens at the Piccadilly
Underpass (or Hyde Park Corner) are an established asset within the
City Council’s income generation portfolio and form part of
the wider City Promotions portfolio. Their continuing commercial
success contributes to the Council’s wider financial planning
objectives, with the income generated helping to sustain core
services. The offer from Wildstone Estates Ltd represents the most
economically advantageous offer to the Council.
