procurement strategy for the appointment of a main works contractor
for the Hopkinson House refurbishment.

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Regeneration and Renters has approved the procurement strategy
to appoint a Main Works contractor for the retrofit of Hopkinson
House to deliver 31 family-sized temporary accommodation (TA)
units.
 
Reasons for Decision: Appointing a Main Works contractor is a critical step in
progressing the Council’s retrofit of the building, which
when completed will support the demand for TA in Westminster which
has risen sharply in recent years.
