Decision Taken
The Executive Director of Finance and
Resources has accepted the surrender by deed, by Sports and Leisure
Management Limited (“Tenant”) to the Council
(“Landlord”) of multiple leases, which took place on 1
November 2025. The Executive Director of Finance and Resources has
also approved the granting of a licence to occupy each of the
following sites at a peppercorn per annum to Sports and Leisure
Management Ltd and the Everyone Active Charitable Trust with effect
from 1 November 2025 to be coterminous with the leisure contract
which currently has an expiry date of 30 June 2029 and the granting
of an occupational licence to occupy the retail and catering areas
at each of the following sites at a peppercorn per annum to SLM
Food & Beverage Limited at a subsequent date to be coterminous
with the leisure contract which currently has an expiry date of 30
June 2029, and the granting of an occupational licence and/or a
licence to occupy and/or a lease to the following third party
occupiers for the following demised areas at the following sites at
a subsequent date at the request of Sports and Leisure Management
Limited, on terms first approved by the Council.
