The Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, Public Health and Voluntary Sector decided to approve the publication of the Community Equality Strategy for consultation on 19 November 2025. The strategy aims to improve council services and promote community cohesion. It includes plans for developing access plans for each council service, building a model for accessible services through community hubs, and developing recommendations for procured and commissioned services.
