The Cabinet Member will consider the award of a contract to deliver women’s services through Housing Needs.

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member for Housing and Regeneration has approved the award of contracts for three lots of Women’s Accommodation-Based Support Services to St Mungo’s, Riverside Group Limited and Refuge and delegated authority to exercise the optional contract extensions and headroom.

Reasons for Decision: With the existing support contracts ending, this decision will ensure continued delivery of support services for the current cohort of vulnerable service users whilst introducing an improved specification and pathway. The new contracts also introduce flexibility to scale up accommodation to meet emerging needs, as well as meeting strategic requirements and increasing value for money.
