The Cabinet Member for Housing and Regeneration approved the award of a contract for Fire Risk Assessments to Firntec Ltd on 30/06/2026. This contract will support the Council in identifying and recording Fire Risk and remedial actions within its housing stock. Firntec Ltd has committed to delivering social value, using energy-efficient materials, reducing waste, transitioning to low-emission vehicles, and achieving a minimum 90% recycling rate on site.

The Executive Director of Finance and Resources approved the grant of a Tenancy at Will to the tenant of Beachcroft House on 23/03/2026. This allows the tenant to remain in occupation while an extension of the commissioning contract is considered. The alternative option of requiring the tenant to vacate was rejected as it would impact the continuity of service and care provided to residents.
