Decision Taken: The Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic Development has approved a one-off capital grant of £85,000 to The Exchange NW1 CIC for an essential ground-floor fit out at 24-46 Lisson Grove.

Reasons for Decision: The capital grant will fund essential works to make the ground floor safe, compliant, accessible and usable for public?facing programming and improve reception/lobby functions. This will prevent the loss of opportunity at a priority meanwhile site and accelerates cultural, economic and community outcomes consistent with the council’s off?high?street activation approach. The underwrite?and?repay mechanism provides a proportionate route to unlock benefits now while Social Value is pursued and repayment protects the council if third?party funding later covers the same works.
