The Cabinet Member for Value for Money and Finance approved a 1-year contract award to Vital Energi Utilities Limited for £4 million on 21 July 2026. This contract is to continue the delivery of the Carbon Management Programme. The decision includes approving authority for the Executive Director of Finance & Resources to raise orders under the contract, subject to satisfactory financial business cases for each investment proposal.
