The Cabinet Member for Housing and Regeneration approved the award of a contract for Roaming Security and Ad Hoc Waking Watch Services to The Way Forward Ltd on 25 June 2026. Authority was delegated to finalise, enter into, and execute the contract and any associated documentation, including permitted extensions, subject to satisfactory performance. The decision allows for the rapid mobilisation of short-term waking watch arrangements and provides a consistent security presence for residents.

The Executive Director of Environment and Communities agreed to proposed amendments to the rates for the Highways and Public Realm Contract and approved entering into this contract with FM Conway Limited on 09 June 2026. This decision followed the finalisation of terms and assurance from the Digital & Innovation team regarding data security. The contract award was delegated from a previous Cabinet decision.

The Cabinet Member for Value for Money and Finance approved entering into a new lease and associated documents with St Vincent's Catholic School on 02 July 2026. This action secures the continuation of school places and enables the school to convert to an academy. The Council will continue to be liable for a ground rent of £700 per annum.
