Reasons for Decision

The recommendation to write-off the amounts detailed in this report is proposed as all other avenues available to the Council for the recovery of these debts have been exhausted, including, where appropriate, the issue of court and distress proceedings. Approval for write-off of these debts must be made by the Cabinet Member or officer, in accordance with the Scheme of Delegation.
