(England) Regulations 2012

Decision

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member
for Planning & Economic Development has approved the submission
of the draft City Plan Partial Review to the Secretary of State
pursuant to Regulation 22 of the Town and Country Planning (Local
Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 before 30th
November 2024.
 
Reason for Decision: In 2022 the
council conducted a focused review of the City Plan to ensure it
responds to the council’s ambitions for a Fairer Westminster
as articulated in its Fairer Economy, Fairer Environment, Fairer
Housing, Fairer Communities and Fairer Council strategies. As a
result, it was identified that amendments are required to the
topics of affordable housing, retrofit, and a
number of site allocations should be included.
