About

The Wiltshire Health and Wellbeing Board is a statutory committee established under the Health and Social Care Act 2012. Its primary role is to prepare key strategic documents, including a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment, Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, and a Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy for the local area.

The Board is responsible for encouraging integrated working between health and social care commissioners to improve the provision of services. It also promotes collaboration between commissioners of health-related services and the Board itself, aiming for shared leadership and real action to enhance community health and wellbeing outcomes.
