The Achieving for Children Joint Committee is convened when there is a disagreement between the three councils that jointly govern Achieving for Children (AfC): the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. This committee meets on an as-needed basis to resolve disputes. Its membership comprises councillors and senior officers from each of the three participating councils, including Chief Executives and Directors of Children's Services.
