AGREED: That Cabinet noted the report and:
i)             
Delayed the opening of a new primary school at Chiltern Road,
Maidenhead, until at least September 2027, and requests that this
be reconsidered in Autumn 2025.
ii)            
Requested a further period of discussion with Windsor schools
around proposals for temporary and/or permanent reductions in the
number of places available, ahead of a report back to Cabinet in
April 2025 with specific options for consideration.
iii)          
Requested that work is carried out to assess the likely impact of
the imposition of VAT on independent school fees on demand for
school places in the borough, and that this work is incorporated
into the 2025 pupil projections.
