AGREED: That Cabinet
noted the report and:
i)            
Approved the Local Development Scheme 2025-28 for planning
policy purposes, so that it could be published on the
Council’s website and sent to the Ministry of Housing,
Communities and Local Government by 6th March 2025.
ii)           
Delegated authority to the Assistant Director of Planning, in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning, Governance and
Asset Management, to make any minor non-material corrections to the
Local Development Scheme 2025-28 as considered necessary ahead of
publication.
iii)          
Considered the recommendations made by the Place Overview and
Scrutiny Panel which were attached to the report as appendix C and
agreed to consider the review of CIL alongside the local
development scheme as was considered most efficient and best
practice.
