AGREED: That cabinet
noted the report and:
i)            
Adopted the Ascot Placemaking Supplementary Planning Document,
as set out at Appendix B.
ii)           
Delegated authority to the Assistant Director of Planning in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning, Governance and
Asset Management and the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport
& Customer Service Centre for minor changes to be made to the
Ascot Placemaking Supplementary Planning Document prior to
publication.
iii)          
Agreed to amend the wording on page 58 of the Supplementary
Planning Document to read the below:
 
“The provision of a Community Building
with a flexible internal arrangement would facilitate its use by a
greater number of community groups, and include the potential to
offer additional functions, such as a temporary exhibition space,
and community cinema / film nights. The large hall should be
sufficient to accommodate 150 people2 and accommodate
the requisite fittings for the potential uses
described.”
