Decision to award the Dry Mixed Recycling
Reprocessing contract to N&P Crayford MRF Limited following a
procurement exercise.

Reasons for the decision

N&P Crayford MRF Limited were the
preferred bidder following evaluation and moderation of the
submitted bids for the procurement exercise.

Alternative options considered

Options: -

1) Approve the award of the Dry Mixed Recycling Reprocessing
contract to N&P Crayford MRF Limited saving an estimated
£230,000 per year over current arrangements. This is the
recommended option. This option is recommended following a full and
compliant procurement process.
2) Do Nothing. This option is not recommended. A full procurement
process has been carried out, which allows the borough to send the
recycling collected for reprocessing at a fair and reasonable cost
to a supplier who meets all of the quality requirements of the
contracted service.
