To appoint Wessex M&E as the main
contractor on the project to replace the boiler at Kings Court
First School with a heat pump, and associated works.

Reasons for the decision

A procurement exercise was carried out to find
the best tender, in accordance with the council's procurement
rules.

Alternative options considered

The procurement exercise considered tenders
from a number of companies for these works.

The best tender was selected. If this decision is not taken, then
the works to replace the failing boiler at Kings Court First School
cannot proceed.
