Cabinet (on 30.10.2025) delegated authority to
the Assistant Director of Planning in consultation with the Cabinet
Member for Planning, Governance and Asset Management, to approve
and publish any minor changes to the draft Parking SPD, prior to
its publication.
The minor changes to be made to the draft Parking SPD are
summarised as follows:
- Amend paragraph 2.10 to clarify that parking standards in the SPD
should be read in conjunction with those included in neighbourhood
plans.
- Amend paragraph 5.19 to add words "within the High Accessibility
Zone".
- Add footnote to High Accessibility Zone in header of Table 2 to
cross-refer to paragraph 5.19.
- Delete paragraph 5.28 to correct an inconsistency with Table 2.
It is considered that these would constitute minor changes to the
document, in line with delegated authority.
The changes have been agreed by Adrien Waite (Assistant Director of
Planning) and Cllr Adam Bermange, relevant Cabinet
Member.
