AGREED: That Cabinet
noted the report and:
 
i)            
Approved the use of LHAF 3 capital to support the acquisition of
8 residential units by a partner housing association for use as
Temporary Accommodation.
 
ii)           
Approved the Council entering into 10-year leases and ancillary
agreements of the 8 residential units from the housing association
and sub-letting the units to residents requiring temporary
accommodation.
 
iii)          
Delegated authority to the Executive Director of Place Services
in consultation with the Cabinet Member Planning, Governance and
Asset Management and Cabinet Member for Adult Service, Health and
Housing Services, to negotiate and agree the leases and
contracts.
