Purpose

This report seeks a decision on whether to
proceed to a referendum on the Maidenhead Neighbourhood Plan in the
light of the Examiner's Report, or to seek delegated authority to
make that decision if the Examiner's Report has not been
finalised.

Content

AGREED: That Cabinet
noted the report and:
i)                
Agreed to accept the Examiner’s recommended modifications,
issue a Decision Statement and progress the Maidenhead
Neighbourhood Plan to referendum;
ii)              
Delegated authority to the Returning Officer, in consultation
with the Assistant Director of Planning, to set the date of the
Referendum;
iii)            
Delegated authority to the Assistant Director of Planning in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Planning
& Governance to make minor non-material amendments to the draft
Neighbourhood Plan prior to the referendum being announced.
