To award the contract for council asset
valuations for the financial year ending 31st March 2026 to Wilks
Head and Eve.

Reasons for the decision

A formal Request for Quotation was submitted
in accordance with the contract and tendering procedures following
market research.
The requirements and outcomes for the valuation service were
included in the issued specification.
Three quotations were received in response to the RTQ by the
deadline and one further quotation was received after the
deadline.
The quotation of the recommended provider offered the best value
for money to the council and the company is known in the field and
has the resources to carry out the service.
