Reasons for the decision

A fire risk assessment in September 2025 found
that two plots not meet the legally required 6 metre separation,
necessitating construction of a fire resistant wall.
As the mobile homes cannot be moved to create the required gap,
this structural intervention is essential to achieve
compliance.
RBWM sought three quotes for the fire resistant wall but faced
substantial market refusal, with most contractors declining,
failing to respond or being unable to undertake the work without
relocating the mobile homes.
One quote was received.
